Another South Sydney junior from the South Eastern Seagulls McPherson had been a regular part of the first grade squad for three years now but injury has curtailed his development somewhat. A strong free running backrower who is also punishing in defence.

What do you remember about your debut game:

When I came on in the last minutes of extra time I charged down a couple of field goal attempts and the game against the Bulldogs at the Showgrounds ended in a 21-all draw.

To be a regular first grader.

Working as a gyprocker, it was hard labour.

Last year against Melbourne. It was my first first grade game of the year against the leading team and I played pretty well.
