Paulson’s composure, ability to sum up an attacking situation and silky smooth hands make him every winger’s dream. Fleet of foot and strong in defence he was instrumental in the Bears rise to the grand final last season. Will definitely be in the mix for a centre spot in the top grade for season 2008.

Earliest football memory:

Playing back home in the back yard in Beaudesert with my cousins when I was three or four.

Favourite football moment:

My first grade debut against the Warriors in Auckland in 2006.

Most embarrassing football moment :

Last year in a night game Joe Williams put a cross field kick in that I lost in the lights and it hit me, at the video review they kept playing it and playing it over and over again.

Game that changed my career:

In my debut year when I got man-of-the-match against the Cowboys. It gave me a lot of confidence.
